Spring Is In The Air//Yard Waste and Brush Disposal Information
- Rake your leaves or yard waste to curb for city pickup
- Bring your brush to the curb of city pickup. Make the brush piles small enough for the City of Rensselaer St Dept. employees to handle. Preferably no long than 4' in length
- If a contractor removes your trees or cleans your lawn debris they are responsible for the removal of the brush, branches, leaves, etc.
- The City of Rensselaer does pick up grass clippings from your mower. Please place them curbside for pickup.
- Please be sure the debris is not covering a city storm drain, this will cause flooding around your curbs.
