City of Rensselaer, Indiana

The Community Alliance is a division of the City of Rensselaer Police Department and is possible only through the commitment of the community. The City is divided into precincts and a captain for each precinct is appointed by the Chief of Police. They hold meetings throughout the year and each August the City of Rensselaer Police Department and the Community Alliance, The Rensselaer Volunteer Fire Department and the help of the City of Rensselaer Park Superintendent Joe Effinger host "National Night Out" For more information on becoming a part of the Community Alliance in your neighborhood contact the Police Department at 219-866-7602.
