Melville Street Construction Continues Progress

City Council Meeting: The next City of Rensselaer City Council Meeting will be held on Thursday July 10, 2008 at 4:00PM at City Hall located at 124 N. VanRensselaer Street in the city council chambers. Check you navigational bar on your right for the current council meeting minutes and upcoming agenda. The Council will also hold it's 2nd meeting of the month on Monday July 21, 2008 at 4:00pm at the council chambers located at 124 N Van Rensselaer Street.

State Road 114 To Close For One Week Beginning July 14, 2008: State Road 114 at the intersection of Melville & Grace Streets will be closed for one week for road construction beginning July 14, 2008. Please watch for traffic signs and workers on the roadway. For updates on the road closing and the Melville Street Project please contact the mayor's office at 866-5212.

Rensselaer Farmer's Market Now Open: The City of Rensselaer is hosting the annual Farmer's Market each Saturday morning at 7:00am-11:00am (Weather Permitting) on the southside of the Court House Square. Local farmer's produce being offered for sale.

Recycle Schedule: Use the navigational bar on your right to see which curbside recycle route is scheduled for pickup the week of June 30,2008.

Melville Street Construction Continues: Construction on the Melville Street project is now underway. Please watch for those who are working on the roadway, watch for traffic signs while in the construction zone.

July 4th Holiday Trash Schedule: City of Rensselaer Sanitation Department has advised the Friday, July 4th trash route will be picked up on Thursday, July 3, 2008. Please contact the Sanitation Department at 866-7833 if you have any questions.
