Did you know that the City of Rensselaer is the official weather record keeper for the National Weather Service? Every 24 hours we report the high temperature, the low temperature, the observation time temperature (7:30am each day), the precipitation and the snow fall that occurs in our city.
With that information we are able to provide you with the monthly data for our weather. In the month of August, 2023 the average high temperature was 81.2 degrees; the average low temperature was 60.3 degrees, the precipitation was 5.05".
